Finally this week all our possessions have been gathered together again under one roof so to speak. With the collection of the hand cart (don’t ask!) from its temporary resting place we can now see the full size of our stuff problem. It is not as bad as I thought and over time the stuff will be tamed and cut down in size.
Well my colour mojo is back, now that my table is set up and my coloured pencils are out I have no excuses. My coloured pencil skills have become a little rusty but it is such fun to be in colour again.
Like them all but love the pansies! They are amazing!
I adore pansies, such wonderful colours, such sweet little faces.
Beautiful colour! My favourite is the hawthorn berries drawing – good enough to eat!
Thank you, but I didn’t think Hawthorns were edible?!
I don’t think they are either, but these look as though they ought to be!
Isn’t it lovely to feel you are getting your life back? But you have been so productive throughout with really good drawings. Don’t know how you managed it.
Yes, it is really great to get a feeling of life back on track again. I am surprised I managed to keep it going, but it is lovely to start to have more time to do more concentrated drawings. Thank you for your kind comment about my drawings, I appreciate it.
Oh those pansies are spectacular! Well, they all are of course, but the pansies are my favorites.
Thank you, I got a tray of pansies that were marked down, I watered them and cut the dead flowers off and they are coming along a treat now.
Love those pansies! I plant them every year because my Mom used to put them in barrels by the front door so they remind me of her.
Lovely pansies but yes, it’s the hawthorn berries that I particularly like. Great to see ‘colour’ back.
I am reminded that in the story ‘the machine stops’ by E.M. Forster, the sign that there is life outside the machine is a pansy flower. Very striking.
I don’t know that story, I will have to look it up, it sounds interesting
I love your art, and your blog is very intriguing. It is a fascinating subject.
